Omnicom Media Group (OMG) has appointed Lee Smith as Asia Pacific President of its data and analytics business Annalect, alongside his current role as CEO Digital Platforms for OMG in the region.Annalect was formed in 2010 in a move to bring together more than 300 digital and analytics experts from across OMG's specialist divisions. Services include media analytics, business intelligence, tools and dashboard systems, econometric modeling (Brand Science), search (Resolution Media) and the DSP trading and data management platform.
Smith (pictured) takes on his additional role with more than 18 years advertising and media industry experience, including 15 years in the digital space. Prior to his current position at OMG, he was Head of Digital and MD of OMD Canada, before which, he ran his own digital media metrics and analytics agency called ehavior, and held senior roles at DDB Canada, and BBDO Canada.
