Former mruk MD Jim Law has launched a new agency in Glasgow, Scotland, called Wild Heather Digital Research, which aims to combine a technological focus with sound research methods.The new firm will offer online quant and qual research services, including the development and use of panels, consultation programmes, online group discussions, depths and online surveys.
Law (pictured) left mruk last year as part of a cost-cutting exercise, following public sector budget reductions. Prior to joining the company eighteen years previously, he was a Research & Planning Director at ad agency the Morgan Partnership in Scotland.
Commenting on the new venture, Law said: 'The new generation of systems and tools enables almost every nature of research to be conducted at a fraction of the historic, labour intensive costs. The key issue is to use the technology within a structure of best research practice.'
