Qual specialist The Sound Research has reported its most profitable year so far, with 2012 revenue up 25% to $7.4m.Founded in 2007 by Ian Pierpoint and Emma Richmond, The Sound Research employs 32 staff at its offices in London, Toronto, Vancouver, New York and Chicago.
CEO Simon Dannatt (pictured) says that while all offices performed 'exceptionally well' last year, Chicago beat its budget by more than 100%.
'We've had a fantastic year, having successfully expanded the client base, strengthened the team and delivered some brilliant projects,' Dannatt states. 'Now we're looking forward to 2013 and plan to build on our tools - including The Sound Vision, our new online qualitative tool - as well as further expanding the team.'
