Difficult environments specialist D3 Systems has added eight execs to its team, including six Assistant Research Analysts, plus Statistician David Rae and Controller Kelley Milligan.
D3 is a full-service market and social research company established in 1985, working on projects including public policy formulation, and international development and assistance programming, and with a particular focus on work in post-conflict environments, including Afghanistan, Bosnia-Herzegovina and Iraq.
The six analysts are Alex Brezinski, Michael Caughey, Leslie Dishman, Elizabeth Hood, Nicholas Malouta and Nina Sabarre.
Brezinski joins with a Master's Degree from American University's School of International Service, and worked previously at the Institute for Multi-Track Diplomacy as the program manager for Civilian-Military Coordination, and as a Peace Corps volunteer in Jordan from 2008-2010. Caughey brings a Master's in Comparative and Regional Studies from the same institution, plus experience from time as an intern with the U.S. Department of Commerce's Bureau of Industry and Security.
Dishman received her Master's in Industrial Organizational Psychology from Southern Illinois University, and brings experience from time as a Career Opportunities in Research (COR) Associate from 2006-2009, and from HR work in mentoring, training, evaluation and job analysis. Hood holds Bachelor's Degrees in both Global Affairs and Sociology, from George Mason University, and studied abroad for one year at Bogazici University in Istanbul, Turkey.
Malouta holds a Master's Degree in Global Theory and History and International Economics from Johns Hopkins SAIS in Washington, DC, and has previously held internships at the U.S. Department of Commerce and the Center for Strategic and International Studies. Sabarre spent time as an intern with D3 while earning Bachelor's Degrees in both Political Science and Philosophy at Virginia Tech.
Rae, who also interned for D3 last summer, has a Bachelor of Arts in History and Political Science from Purdue University and has worked as program coordinator for an environmental consulting firm in Portland, Oregon. As Controller, Milligan is responsible for overseeing day-to-day operation of all accounting, contracting, facility security and finance functions. She brings more than nine years' experience in the telecommunication, security, construction and hospitality industries.
