Bob Shullman, the former President of affluent consumer measurement business Ipsos Mendelsohn, has set up his own consultancy called the Shullman Research Center, which offers a 'Luxury and Affluence Monthly Pulse' of future purchasing intentions of the US marketplace.Just a year after announcing his retirement, media researcher Shullman (pictured) has set up the full service agency to offer a perspective on the current shopping and spending patterns of the affluent market. In addition to the monthly 'pulse' survey, his company will design and execute custom qual and quant research.
At Ipsos Mendelsohn, Shullman was involved in the repositioning of the Mendelsohn Affluent Survey multi-platform and multimedia planning and insights tool. Earlier, he co-founded and served as CEO at agency The Willard & Shullman Group, and was co-leader of SRI International's 'Consumer Financial Decisions' multi-client study. Earlier, he worked for American Express in its travel-related business.
