Former Ford Motor veteran and auto consumer insight specialist Tom Zwolan has joined GfK's Automotive team as Vice President.Zwolan (pictured) joins with more than twenty years' strategic planning and consumer insight experience. He began his career at Ford, where he spent fourteen years in a variety of marketing, analysis and product planning roles. Throughout his time with the company, he was responsible for integrating consumer insight into the marketing and product planning decision making processes.
He then moved to ADP Dealer Services as Director, Marketing and OEM Relations, with responsibility for the Chrysler, Audi, and Volkswagen accounts, before joining MORPACE, where he had responsibility for the Ford Motor account. He later worked as SVP, Automotive at Synovate, overseeing the North American Motoresearch division, at furniture manufacturer La-Z-Boy as Director - Consumer Insights and Strategy, and held market insights and client analytics roles at Domino's Pizza and Edmunds.com.
Most recently, Zwolan worked at marcoms firm Hart, where he was responsible for developing and executing research projects for clients in the automotive, retail, healthcare, and renewable energy sectors.
In his new role, Zwolan will be based at GfK's Southfield, Michigan office.
