San Francisco-based business planning and analytics software firm Anaplan has expanded in Europe with the acquisition of its UK and Ireland reseller Vue Analytics, and the opening of a European HQ in Paris.Developed and launched by the original founders of Adaytum (now known as IBM Cognos Planning), Anaplan's software is used to model businesses, obtain insights, align operations and execute processes in a single platform. The firm says its customer base grew by 500% last year, while revenues increased by 800% across the globe.
Anaplan's new HQ will be led by Laurent Lefouet (pictured), who previously served as Chief Operating Officer at SAP.
CEO Fred Laluyaux comments: 'Our acquisition of Vue Analytics, the opening of our new EMEA headquarters in France, and the addition of Laurent Lefouet to our management team will allow us to meet growing demand for our solutions and better serve our expanding customer base in the EMEA region.'
