London-based brand and comms research specialist Hall & Partners (H&P) has made two senior hires in its European healthcare team: ex-Kantar Health exec Chris McPartland and former medeConnect Research Director Lucy Ireland.McPartland joins as a Partner and will lead the firm's growing Oncology Centre of Excellence and serve on the UK senior management team. He brings more than 25 years' experience, having begun his career at NOP (now GfK NOP).
Ireland joins as Research Director, tasked with leading the Health team's continued expansion in quant research. She is a committee member of pharma research association the BHBIA and before joining medeConnect Health Insight in 2010 spent seven years at Synovate Healthcare, latterly as VP/Research Director - New Syndicated Services. Her first research role was at Isis Research, later part of Synovate.
H&P also made four other personnel announcements: Erica Pascual has joined in the US as an Account Manager, bringing a background in psychobiology and biotechnology; Amanda Perlstein joins as Account Executive, and brings experience in healthcare research and multi-lingual skills. The company has also promoted Rachel Moore to Account Director and Aurora Albert to Account Manager.
