UK-based business-to-business agency B2B International has posted what it describes as its 'best ever' start-of-year figures, with first quarter revenue of £1.7m, up 108% from Q1 2012.The company's main offices are in Manchester, London, New York and Beijing, and it also runs a specialist design, ad and marketing agency B2B Marcomms, as well as a consumer-focused agency called deep see.
In February, B2B reported its best ever year, with 2012 turnover up 28% to £5.1m, driven by 68% revenue growth in North America and a 25% rise in Europe.
Commenting on the Q1 2013 figures, CEO Matthew Harrison (pictured) says: 'It is hard to single out highlights from these results as revenue in the UK, US and Asia-Pacific all increased by over 100% on Q1 of 2012. In addition, our medical division has seen enormous growth since summer 2012, and the proportion of our revenue represented by ongoing contracts rather than ad hoc work has increased fivefold in less than two years.'
