Millward Brown has promoted Maureen Van Wijk to the position of Managing Director in Ireland, replacing Richard Waring who has left to 'pursue other interests'.
Van Wijk (pictured) joined the firm in 2004 when Millward Brown IMS (formerly Irish Marketing Surveys) and Lansdowne Market Research were merged into a single company called Millward Brown Lansdowne. Prior to this, she was a Director at Research International in Belgium, and worked at Nielsen as an Account Manager.
Waring, whom she replaces, joined Lansdowne in 1996 after working at Nielsen and SmithKline Beecham.
