In San Francisco, mobile games platform PlayHaven has acquired the team behind the real-time game analytics company Staq.io, in order to extend its delivery of player insights to mobile developers. Terms of the deal have not been disclosed.Staq.io was launched last year by CEO Massimo Andreasi Bassi, CTO Luca Martinetti and COO Francesco Simoneschi to help game developers capture player data. PlayHaven says bringing in the Staq.io team will accelerate the analysis capabilities needed by game developers who are launching user engagement and monetization campaigns.
CEO Bassi comments: 'We started Staq.io with the goal of bringing valuable insights to developers struggling to make sense of their users and understanding how they want to be engaged. Data is core to every game developer's success and we're excited to join forces with PlayHaven where we will continue solving the same set of problems we're passionate about.'
