dtw Marketing Research Plans Florida Move

Pharma specialist dtw Marketing Research is relocating its headquarters to Amelia Island, Florida, and in the process creating 40 new jobs.

Launched in 1983 by Michael Doctor, Gary Troast and Richard Wetzel, and currently based in Flanders, NJ, dtw specializes in global marketing intelligence through recall studies, promotional material analysis and market impact surveys, while its CD Promo WorldWide online database provides data on pharmaceutical promotion materials. In addition, the firm has a global panel comprising more than 1,500 healthcare professionals.

Located just 30 miles from Jacksonville, the firm's new office on Amelia Island will be completed in December, and prior to this dtw plans to hire for a number of managerial, sales management and IT roles, along with hourly flex-time positions.

President Pamela Statile comments: 'We spent much of 2012 investigating new corporate locations. We were looking for business friendly states to move to, unlike that atmosphere in the Northeast. With a combination of the lifestyle here in Nassau County, the tax friendly environment and the reasonable cost of living, the choice became a simple one.'
