Ipsos has promoted ad research veteran Gordon Bingham to the role of President at Ipsos ASI in Canada.
Bingham (pictured), who has nearly three decades of research experience, joined Ipsos in 1997 and most recently served as President, Client Service, prior to which he spent eight years in the role of President, Tracking & Equity. Before joining the group, he was VP at The NPD Group in Canada; Manager of Marketing Research, Corporate Banking at CIBC; and Senior Research Director at Thompson Lightstone Co.
In his new role, Bingham will lead Ipsos ASI across Canada, managing staff and financial matters for the company's advertising research teams in Montreal, Toronto and Vancouver.
Gary Bennewies, President & CEO of Ipsos Canada, comments: 'Gordon Bingham has been a part of Ipsos ASI Canada from its beginning, and has always demonstrated a passion for advertising research and the success of our clients. He's played a critical role in establishing Ipsos ASI as Canada's leading copy testing and in-market advertising assessment organization, delivering top notch service to our clients across the country. He will no doubt continue to shine in this new leadership role.'
Bingham replaces Chris Greenfield, who left Ipsos in March to launch a cycling company called Epique Sports Inc.
