UK-based consumer agency Firefish has appointed former GfK design research specialist Rose Tomlins as Qualitative Director, strengthening its technology and service design offering.The company, which has offices in London, Amsterdam, and New York, offers both qualitative and quantitative research, and boasts a specialist kids and family division called The Pineapple Lounge.
Tomlins (pictured) joins from customer experience consultancy Seren, where she served as Principal Strategist, involved with ethnographic research and conducting design workshops. Prior to this, she spent eight years at GfK. While latterly working as Qualitative Research Director, she founded and led the TechQual team, which specialises in international qualitative and ethnographic research within the technology sector. Tomlins began her research career at Synovate, and after nearly three years moved to Harris Interactive.
