Steven Deketelaere, the founder of online qual and quant research firm iVOX, has returned to the company's Belgium headquarters as Chief Executive Officer, after a two-year stint in the US.The firm, which was launched as a spin-off from the University of Leuven in 2003, offers a range of data collection services including an omnibus, to help clients test new products, track ads and concepts, and evaluate campaigns. In addition, the firm provides access to a panel of more than 115,000 people in Belgium and around 50,000 in the Ukraine.
Deketelaere (pictured) has spent the past two years developing the company internationally, with a specific focus on the Latin American markets. Before setting up the company, he worked as a Research Director at Censydiam, and served as MD of Belgium's first online supermarket De Thuiswinkel.
Commenting on his return to Belgium, Deketelaere says the company has now reached a 'mature status' internationally, and its local team are able to manage the business on a standalone basis.
