Deketelaere Returns to Belgium as iVOX CEO

Steven Deketelaere, the founder of online qual and quant research firm iVOX, has returned to the company's Belgium headquarters as Chief Executive Officer, after a two-year stint in the US.

The firm, which was launched as a spin-off from the University of Leuven in 2003, offers a range of data collection services including an omnibus, to help clients test new products, track ads and concepts, and evaluate campaigns. In addition, the firm provides access to a panel of more than 115,000 people in Belgium and around 50,000 in the Ukraine.

Deketelaere (pictured) has spent the past two years developing the company internationally, with a specific focus on the Latin American markets. Before setting up the company, he worked as a Research Director at Censydiam, and served as MD of Belgium's first online supermarket De Thuiswinkel.

Commenting on his return to Belgium, Deketelaere says the company has now reached a 'mature status' internationally, and its local team are able to manage the business on a standalone basis.
