Research and analytics firm Blueocean MI, part of the Cross-Tab group, has hired Shannon McGuire as Vice President of Client Development.McGuire brings more than twenty years of experience in the implementation of large-scale customer insight programs, with particular focus on data synthesis, data visualization, and social networking and collaboration software, and including spells at Maritz Research, Millward Brown, Market Strategies International, Lieberman Research Worldwide and Research International. The holder of a Bachelor of Science degree in Consumer Economics from the University of Illinois, he also in 2008 founded a software company which developed a CRM platform bringing together visual relationship mapping and collaboration functionality.
