US-based customer feedback specialist Mindshare Technologies has named former Empathica exec Gary Edwards as Chief Customer Officer of the newly combined company, heading up both the Market Insights and Sales teams.Headquartered in Salt Lake City, Mindshare offers automated customer feedback and employee engagement solutions, with proprietary technology developed to capture the 'voice of the customer' (VoC) in real-time.
Social media CEM specialist Empathica was acquired by Mindshare earlier this month. Edwards (pictured) joined the company in 2004 as EVP, Client Services, and most recently served as Chief Customer Officer, in charge of strategic account development, client services, marketing insights, marketing and business development. Earlier in his career, he held senior roles at Maritz Research and at Gallup.
At Mindshare, Edwards will oversee the Salt Lake City and Canada-based Insights team of 23 members, which includes Chadly Hortin, SVP, Marketing Insights; and Sandra Tamburino, Senior Director, Marketing Insights.
