TNS Finds New APAC Operations Chief

TNS has appointed Vishy Rajagopal S. as Regional Director, Operations for Asia Pacific. He was VP, Operations for TNS India for five years until 2009, and re-joins from Nielsen where he has served as regional Head of Data Acquisition for the Middle East, Africa & Pakistan, and South Asia.

Rajagopal, who has more than twenty years' experience in the research industry and will be based in Bangalore, says TNS is 'leading the industry in operations, delivering massive improvements in data collection through their commitment to leveraging technology and deploying digital data collection.' His initial role will be to complete the firm's transition to '100 percent electronic data collection', including rolling out the use of tablets across APAC.

James Brooks, Global Operations Director at TNS, says he is 'incredibly pleased' with the appointment. He adds: 'We have a significant focus on enhancing our offer through the use of tablet and mobile technology in all projects across the region. Vishy's significant experience of delivering technology-led transformation will greatly accelerate our progress towards this.'
