In the US, management consultancy giant PwC has acquired Miami and Chicago-based interactive marketing agency BGT, which offers a range of analytics, strategy and user experience (UX) services. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.Founded in 1996, BGT specializes in using technology and data to connect people and brands. Its range of advanced analytics services includes multi-channel attribution modeling, social media and mobile reporting and analytics, and advanced data modeling, while it also offers a range of usability testing and UX design services.
The company will now be integrated into PwC's US Advisory practice, and former BGT CEO and founder David Clarke (pictured) and Chief Client Officer Andrea Fishman join as Principals.
PwC says the acquisition adds digital strategy, analytics, creative and technology capabilities, and Miles Everson, PwC US Advisory Leader, adds: 'The addition of the BGT business brings our clients new and creative game changing capabilities in customer experience and design. We believe the addition of this team will be a notable differentiator in the market, bringing significant value to our clients.'
