Canadian customer feedback and analytics specialist iPerceptions has enhanced the text mining capabilities of its Active Research platform, adding clickstream data segmentation for more detailed analysis of open-ended feedback.iPerceptions, which is owned by investment company XPND Fund, developed the Active Research platform to enable users to engage with customers wherever they interact with a brand; get feedback from those customers; and then take action on the results.
The updated text mining features offer the ability to save and bookmark filters for future analysis, and tag and categorize open-ended feedback for researchers to export directly to a CSV file for additional analysis. Resulting data can be used to uncover emerging patterns and trends; and understand the context of customer feedback through the addition of variables such as 'browser', 'country', and 'overall experience'.
Derek Zakaib (pictured), VP of Product Strategy and Marketing, comments: 'This enhanced text mining leverages advanced search capabilities, web analytics and close-ended survey data to draw out actionable insights and contextualize each open-ended response. The sophisticated analysis can be immediately viewed through word and concept clouds - to give marketers an accelerated way to absorb information and take action.'
