Ipsos has reported a 4.3% decline in annual revenue to EUR 1.71bn, from EUR 1.79bn in 2012. The company blames the fall on exchange rates, its partial withdrawal from Eurozone countries like Greece and Portugal, and the sale of its Los Angeles-based film testing arm. Organic growth was 0.8%.On a like-for-like basis, revenues were down 2.7% at the end of the first quarter, but they grew at a 'moderate pace' of 0.4% in the second quarter, and then at a faster rate of 1.8% and 1.6% respectively, in the third and fourth quarters.
By region, on a reported basis, revenue in Asia Pacific dropped 8.8% to EUR 284.6m, in EMEA 2.1% to EUR 752.2m, and in the Americas 4.7% to EUR 675.6m.
