Toronto, Canada-based online and telephone data collection agency The Logit Group has expanded to the US, where it has appointed industry veteran Marcus Turner as US Vice President.Logit provides a full range of data collection capabilities, while also delivering advanced programming and reporting expertise. Its Q-Fi division develops data and insight collection tools for the market research sector, and recently launched a DIY software tool called VID-OE, which enables users to integrate video recordings into web surveys, web sites and online communities.
Turner (pictured) joins after a brief spell as VP Business Development at SampleSolutions, prior to which he spent three years at RDD Field Services, and held business development roles at Ugam Research Solutions, the ICT Group, Authentic Response and Research Data Design.
In his new role, based in Portland, Oregon, Turner will be responsible for new business development and account management across the US. Group President Sam Pisani comments: 'The expansion into the US market continues the growth the company has experienced in recent years. The timing for this expansion is perfect as the economy continues to strengthen and this year's political cycle heats up. Our hiring of Turner solidifies our commitment to this market.'
