London-based brand and comms research specialist Hall & Partners has appointed former Saatchi & Saatchi planner Ailean Mills with the title of Head of Cultural Investigation.Mills (pictured) joins from Saatchi & Saatchi where she was Global Planning Director on the P&G account, and introduced social media listening to drive new advertising strategy and ideas. Prior to this, she ran her own consultancy agency, Upstream, experimenting with non-probing qualitative techniques such as discourse analysis and semiotics. Earlier, she held a variety of roles at Nestlé in London and Switzerland, before moving to Leo Burnett and more recently, Havas Worldwide.
