Tonic Insight, which was recently formed from the merger of consumer-focused Spring Research and its online communities specialist Tuned In Research, has appointed five new members of staff in the UK and two in the US.London-based Tuned In was launched as Spring Research's youth division in 2006, and opened an office in New York a year ago. In February, Tuned In merged with Camden-based Spring, which offers a range of marketing, research, brand planning and business strategy services.
At the London office, Kirsten Foot has joined as an Account Director, from Added Value where she was a Project Director. Earlier, she was a Research Manager at Carat and Freuds. Alex Steedon takes up the position of Account Manager, having previously served as SRE - Consumer Goods and Gaming at FreshMinds, and worked at Mintel as a Brand Analyst. In addition, Vincent Cotton, Gertrude Sai and Felicity Adkins have all joined as Account Executives.
Over in New York, the firm has appointed Brooke Seder and David Lawson as Senior Account Executives.
