Research Now Hires BlueKai Co-founder as CTO

Online panel specialist Research Now has appointed BlueKai co-founder Michael Bigby as Chief Technology Officer (CTO) and a member of its Executive Leadership team.

Bigby (pictured) joins with more than two decades of software development and management experience. Most recently, he served as CTO of marketing start-up Extol, prior to which he co-founded and worked as CTO at data audience targeting platform BlueKai, which wasacquired by Oracle in February. Earlier, he held a number of senior roles at Redpoint Ventures, Yahoo!, and Broadcast.com.

In his new role, Bigby will be based at Research Now's global headquarters in Plano, Texas, from where he will lead the firm's global technology team.

He will report to President and CEO Kurt Knapton, who comments: 'Mike's proven experience in assembling world-class engineering teams and building high-performance software will be transformative for Research Now and our quickly-evolving industry. I am excited to have someone of his caliber and vision on our global team.'
