In the US, Peter Wooster, the Chief Revenue Officer of marketing analytics and campaign management firm Marin Software, is leaving the company to 'pursue other opportunities'. As a result, the sales management team will now report to CEO David Yovanno.Founded in 2006, San Francisco-based Marin helps advertisers track, analyze and manage ad campaigns across Google, Bing, Yahoo!, Baidu and other search engines. Last month, the firm acquired retargeting specialist Perfect Audience in a cash and stock deal valued at $25.5m.
Wooster (pictured) joined in 2007 as VP of Sales, then moved up to EVP, Global Sales, before taking his current position in September 2012. During his time with the firm, he has managed a global team of 325 employees, and he was instrumental in Marin's initial public offering (IPO) last year. Earlier in his career, he held senior roles at Paychex and Salesforce.com.
Commenting on the news, Yovanno said: 'Peter was the founding member of our sales organization and has helped build the company from its earliest days to over $77m in annual revenue last year. We thank him for his contributions to Marin over the past eight years and wish him well in his future endeavors.'
