US-based behavioral targeting and data management firm AudienceScience has opened an office in Sao Paulo, Brazil.Formerly known as RevenueScience, the company offers the Audience Gateway technology platform and a targeting marketplace, recording billions of 'behavioral events' daily from more than 386 million unique Internet users, and serving targeted ads in real-time.
The firm says that its enterprise advertising management system will be the 'first of its kind' to be made available to Brazilian advertisers.
CEO Mike Peralta (pictured) comments: 'Online advertising is not a US or European-based discipline. It's a global marketplace, and programmatic ad buying allows advertisers to take advantage of expanding regions that will grow their businesses. We're excited to set up shop in Brazil, which saw a booming ad market during the World Cup, and will continue to grow with the Olympics.'
