Grass Roots Veteran Nigel Cover Joins Maritz

Maritz Research Europe has appointed Grass Roots Group veteran Nigel Cover as Vice President for Business Services, tasked with growing business within the financial services, telecoms, industrial, retail and healthcare sectors across Europe.

Cover (pictured) was previously Executive Board Director of performance improvement specialist Grass Roots, where he worked for nearly 32 years, setting up the customer insight and learning business, helping to run the German operation as joint MD and filling key operational roles in the USA, France, Spain and Ireland. He has also served as a Board Member of industry association MSPA Europe for the past eight years, becoming its European President in 2011.

At Maritz, he will join the European Research Board (ERB) and will report directly to Stephan Thun, Maritz Research Europe CEO. Thun welcomes Cover's 'great experience in many sectors and proven track record with clients', and comments: 'Nigel will play a key role in developing our route to market and we are very pleased he is joining us.'
