London-based insight consultancy Firefish has appointed former Kadence qual leader Selena King as Qualitative Group Head.The group includes quantitative division TheNumbersLab, launched in 2012, family, kids and teens specialist The Pineapple Lounge, and sister company Firefilms, specialists in using film and technology as part of the research process. Its original, qualitative department was founded in 2000.
King (pictured) joins after a period working as a freelance qual consultant while studying for a postgrad in Sustainable Business at Cambridge University. Prior to this, she spent nearly three years at Kadence International, where she set up and ran the firm's Qualitative division, having begun her career at 2CV, where she worked for a decade and rose to Research Director.
