Data driven CRM firm Merkle has appointed three new Vice Presidents: Yaakov Kimelfeld as Chief Research Officer, Digital Media; Karima Zmerli in charge of the firm's digital data strategy; and Zimm Zimmerman as Personalization Solution leader.Most recently, Kimelfeld served as CRO at Millward Brown Digital in New York, where he led methodology development, innovation, and industry liaison, and oversaw the integration of the research functions between Millward Brown and other Kantar and WPP companies. Before this, he was SVP, Analytics at Starcom MediaVest; Group BI Director at WPP firm Beyond Interactive; and Research Manager at Omnicom-owned Agency.com. At Merkle, he will lead digital research capabilities and play a leadership role in the integration of the firm's digital media and paid search offerings.
Zmerli re-joins from interactive agency Razorfish, where she served as Customer Insight Group Director, having previously worked at Merkle as Quantitative Solution Group Director. Earlier, she was an AD at Digitas.
Zimmerman brings to Merkle more than fifteen years of CRM, personalization and marketing technology experience. Before joining, he was the eMarketing specialist at Syndicus, Inc. and CRM Strategy Technologist at Z'Art of Marketing. In his new role, he is responsible for driving the development of Merkle's personalization offering.
