Canadian MR, Marketing and Strategy Firm Acquired

Canada-based Relevention Marketing has acquired full service digital marketing firm Industrial Quality Management (IQM), which specialises in the industrial services sector.

IQM's services include market research and analysis, digital planning and development, marketing automation and lead generation. With the acquisition, co-founder Nick Bideshi has joined Relevention as Business Development Director, in its office in Abbotsford, British Columbia. One other IQM employee also joins.

Relevention was established in 2007, employs 23 people and offers a suite of results-based marketing services, functioning as an in-house marketing and creative team for a broad range of clients. Company Principal Braden Douglas says of the deal: 'IQM specialized in the industrial and manufacturing sectors but we recognized their skill sets perfectly complemented our growing focus on supplying leading edge digital solutions for our clients.' He adds: 'I've known founders Gerry Wiebe and Nick Bideshi professionally and they were very receptive to the idea of working together. We're delighted. This is going to instantly elevate our digital and marketing automation capacity, which has been a growing focus of ours in recent years.'
