In the US, business intelligence software firm InsightSquared has secured a $13.5m Series C funding round, which it will use to expand its sales and marketing initiatives, launch new products, and integrate its existing tools with more data providers.The firm offers tools to help small and mid-sized clients uncover insights in their CRM data, and employs more than 100 members of staff at its Cambridge, MA headquarters.
New funding has been led by existing investors Atlas Ventures, Draper Fisher Jurvetson and NextView Ventures, along with new investor Two Sigma Ventures. Last year, the firm obtained $8m in Series B funding, and the latest round brings the total raised to $27m.
