Singapore and Bangalore, India-based marketing intelligence firm Tookitaki has raised $1m in seed funding, which it will use to expand into new regions including Australia, New Zealand, Japan and Southeast Asia.Founded in 2013 by Abhishek Chatterjee and Jeeta Bandopadhyay, Tookitaki provides semantic analysis of current public data combined with historical results, to help clients forecast consumer behaviour and engagement. The firm's technology can be used to create micro-segments from target audiences, and then to develop a 360-degree consumer behaviour forecasting model.
New funding has been led by Jungle Ventures, with participation from existing investor Blume Ventures and new investor Rebright Partners, and adds to the $200k the firm raised when it first launched.
