Joachim Lenz, who co-founded media auditing firm Fairbrother Lenz Eley (FLE), died unexpectedly last week at the age of 63.In 2003, Joachim (pictured) hooked up with Ian Fairbrother and Mike Eley of UK-based Fairbrother Media Company, which was merged with his Hamburg media measurement firm Lenz Media Audit to form FLE. In 2012, the partners sold the business to media intelligence provider Ebiquity for up to £11m.
In a statement, Ebiquity said: 'With the passing of Joachim Lenz, the industry has lost a personality. He was a successful mediator between advertisers, agencies and publishers. With his integrity and professional manner, he was a great role model for many and we will miss him very much.'
