In the US, ecommerce technology provider Sellpoints has acquired audience modeling and targeting specialist ReTargeter for an undisclosed sum.San Francisco-based ReTargeter offers advanced targeting and retargeting solutions, to enable advertisers and brands to reach the right online audience. Sellpoints says the acquisition will enable it to 'productize' audience modelling and capitalize on its own consumer and shopper behavioural data, while integrating ReTargeter's campaign management tools. According to Sellpoints CEO Brian O'Keefe, the combination of Sellpoints' data with ReTargeter's ability to execute display advertising campaigns will allow the firm to deliver programs tapping into previously inaccessible shopper data.
ReTargeter CEO Blair Jeffris adds: 'The combination of Sellpoints' big data capabilities with our product offerings will enable us to deliver powerful and innovative solutions that drive measurable and meaningful growth in sales and ROI for our customers.'
