In the UK, full service cultural insights and innovation specialist Crowd DNA has appointed two new members of staff, while promoting Sarah Brierley to the position of Business and Strategy Director, and Aurelie Jamard to Associate Director of Innovation.
Formed in 2008 and with offices in London and Amsterdam, Crowd DNA conducts commercial and thought leadership research in areas such as media, fashion retail, technology and entertainment. The firm explores new trends, changing behaviour and emergent opportunities through NPD and communications testing, audience segmentation, competitor analysis and social media tracking.
In the Shoreditch office, Laura Warby joins as a Senior Consultant, having previously worked for Tonic as Senior Account Executive, and before this held roles at The Research Partnership and Synovate. Milly Derbyshire joins as a Consultant from Added Value, where she worked since summer 2013, most recently as Cultural Insight Project Executive.
Brierley has worked for the firm since 2009 - initially as an AD, and more recently as Strategic Initiatives Director. Earlier, she was an SRE at Illuminas, and a TV Planner/Buyer at Initiative. Jamard worked as a Consultant at Promise Communispace before joining CrowdDNA in January 2014.
According to MD Andy Crysell, further recruitment is planned for the next two quarters of this year. 'We had a phenomenal year of growth, particularly in terms of adding to our portfolio of multi market work, and we're set to now invest in adding further to the great mix of culturally astute talent that we've brought together at Crowd DNA', he adds.
