WPP digital agency Mirum has acquired a majority stake in German full-service digital marketing agency RSK Group. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.Düsseldorf-based RSK was founded in 1989 and offers cross-media services including web design and monitoring, design, app development, social media and mobile marketing, advertising, and film and photo production. The firm employs 25 staff, and for the year ended 31st December 2014 had unaudited revenues of c.EUR 2.3m.
Mirum, which was launched in January by J.Walter Thompson and comprises eleven digital agencies spanning seventeen countries and 40 offices, offers services across innovation, design, data, marketing and technology. Following the acquisition, RSK will rebrand as Mirum and will continue to be led by RSK founder and current CEO Christoph Eßer (pictured).
