In the US, full service research and analytics agency Hanover Research has promoted Wesley Givens to the role of Chief Executive Officer, replacing founder Peter Dodge who becomes Chief Performance Officer.Founded in 2003, Hanover is headquartered in Arlington, Virginia, and employs more than 330 staff, including researchers, analysts, statisticians and grant professionals. Specialities include evaluating market and consumer trends; forecasting sales demand; exploring new markets; and measuring brand awareness.
Givens (pictured) joined the firm in 2005, since when he has worked in nearly every department from sales to content to operations; and most recently he served as President and Chief Operating Officer. He graduated from Washington and Lee University in 1999, with a degree in European History.
Commenting on the appointment, Dodge said: 'Wes is a talented and respected leader, and I am so happy to have someone of his caliber to name as Hanover's second CEO. Given the market opportunities in front of us, the uniqueness of our model, the barriers to entry we have built, and the extraordinary trends in our industry, we have a formula for enormous success'.
