UK-based full service researcher Incite has opened an office in San Francisco and appointed Kevin Waters as its Managing Director.
Waters (pictured) held senior roles at both TNS and Ipsos on the West Coast, and most recently served as President and CEO of the National Food Laboratory, leading the organisation's turnaround. IN his new role, he will lead the growth of a West Coast consulting team, as well as supporting the firm's business in New York.
The expansion follows the opening of a new office in Shanghai at the beginning of the year, led by former Millward Brown MD Jason Spencer. Locations in New York and Singapore were added eighteen months earlier. Doris Guan from Millward Brown and Dunnhumby's Pacino Chi have recently joined the Shanghai team, and the firm says headcount in London, Singapore and New York is also rising 'in line with strong growth'.
The company's global head Matthew Froggatt comments: 'I'm delighted that Kevin has decided to join our team and increase our footprint in North America. Our US business is booming, with many clients on the West Coast. Kevin's local knowledge and network will allow us to both support existing clients and build new relationships'.
