Ipsos MORI has appointed former Kantar Health MD Jim Needell as Managing Director, Marketing.Needell will lead Ipsos MORI's 200-strong Marketing team, which helps marketers innovate, build their brand portfolio and maximise sales / ROI.
He left sister company Kantar Worldpanel in 2011 to join Kantar Health, where he was 'a catalyst in the turnaround in fortunes of the business'. In all, he has twenty years' experience across sectors from FMCG and durables to healthcare, and has also worked for GfK and TNS, building expertise across syndicated, panel and ad hoc services.
Ipsos MORI Chief Exec Ben Page says the Marketing business will 'benefit immeasurably' from Needell's leadership: 'He brings with him extensive agency-side experience, particularly in the healthcare sector, and his appointment consolidates Ipsos' position as a leading marketing insight provider in the UK market.
