Edinburgh-based qualitative analysis software developer Quirkos has upgraded its product, adding new features for working with text data.Quirkos software allows users to sort, manage and understand large amounts of text, delivering findings in a visual format. Clients can collate and compare themes across dozens of different text sources such as interview transcripts, surveys and articles. The company was founded by Dr Daniel Turner (pictured) late last year.
Researchers can now code PDF articles, group topics in new ways, and work quicker with improved performance and visual styling. In response to customer demand, the product will now import data from online survey platforms like SurveyMonkey, and pdf documents like policy documents and journal articles.
Quirkos, which says more than 70% of its sales come from outside the UK, is online at www.quirkos.com .
