In India, IMRB International has appointed marketer K Ramkrishnan as General Manager of its IMRB | Kantar Worldpanel business.Established in 1971, IMRB is a member of WPP's Kantar Group with offices across fourteen countries and 32 cities. The firm has eight specialist units: qualitative research, social and rural research, media, continuous tracking through household panels, customer and stakeholder relationships, business-to-business, software development and data processing.
Ramkrishnan (pictured) joins with more than twenty years' sales, marketing, product planning and strategy experience, with a focus on consumer insight mining and brand strategy. Most recently he worked at pan-Indian fashion brand Future Lifestyle Fashions, where he served as President of Marketing, prior to which he was President - Marketing at Café Coffee Day, overseeing digital strategy, brand management and measurement. Earlier, he was Country Manager - Marketing at Lenovo India, General Manager - Marketing at TVS Motor Company, and he held senior marketing roles at Tata Tea, TTK Prestige and TTK Group.
