Schlesinger Buys Medical Fieldwork Firm MedQuery

International data collection group Schlesinger Associates has acquired Chicago-based MedQuery, a specialist in medical fieldwork.

MedQuery, which provides national and local medical recruitment, will remain a standalone operation and retain its current leadership team of Chris Lee & Michael Schulte. Its targets include groups such as hospital executives, managed care professionals, pharmacists, nurses and office staff in addition to physicians, and it also operates a focus group facility, close to the city's three largest hospitals. Last autumn, it launched a new service called Fast Track, guaranteeing to recruit any type of physician to a qualitative research study in one week,
