London-based brand and comms research specialist Hall & Partners has formally launched a mobile-focused division called Tempo, which uses technology to gather 'in the moment' feedback in the form of data, pictures, video and stories.
Global CEO Vanella Jackson says the division will capture moments when and where they happen, get at instinctive and emotional responses, and produce new insights for clients. The firm says clients responded 'enthusiastically' during a beta phase, and Tempo is now working with businesses in digital media, gaming, software services, finance, automotive, alcoholic beverages and retail.
The new division is led by Tempo Managing Partner Joanna Fanuele (pictured), who comments: 'Traditional survey-based research is reflective, and while there's certainly a place for that, we believe that gathering 'in the moment' feedback generates new revelations in the work we do. Since launch, we have already delivered a host of new insights to help clients understand how people really live their lives, make decisions on purchase journeys and experience brands'.
