Seattle-based social media analytics provider Simply Measured has acquired Fayetteville, Arkansas-based DataRank, whose software helps sift and prioritise online comment. Terms were not disclosed.DataRank's social intelligence platform identifies the most relevant or useful comments among the mass of online conversation, accelerating the process of analysis. The fast-growing company has recently launched DataRank Sonar, a social media dashboard presenting real-time visual updates about client brands.
The firm's team will continue to work from their current location, working collaboratively with staff at its new owner. Simply Measured, which in the last 12 months also acquired social ROI data provider Inside Social, says the new combination will give it 'the most comprehensive analytics solution in the fast-growing social measurement market', actively used by more than 100,000 marketers.
