In the US, St. Louis-based IT consulting firm Perficient has acquired digital experience solutions firm Enlighten, for an undisclosed sum.Enlighten has around 75 employees, annual revenues of $12 million and is based in Ann Arbor, Michigan. The company develops, implements and supports digital experience solutions, and Perficient says the buy will deepen its digital transformation business and expand its digital portfolio.
Almost all of Enlighten's staff will join Perficient, including the entire consulting team, according to Bill Davis, the buyer's MD of Marketing and Communications; while Enlighten CEO Steve Glauberman takes the role of GM of the Enlighten team with Perficient.
Davis says Enlighten clients will now have access to Perficient's big data analytics, business optimization and enterprise resource planning (ERP) management capabilities.
The acquisition is Perficient's ninth deal since 2013, the only other one this year being Chattanooga, TN-based IBM analytics firm Market Street Solutions, acquired in September 2015 for $5.3m. Market Street's services include business intelligence, financial performance management, data warehousing, data integration and big data.
