In the US, research software firm Kinesis and phone survey specialist Survox have launched a multi-mode solution enabling panel managers to collect data through both self-administered and interviewer-assisted phone-based sessions.'Survox for Kinesis Panel' has been developed to promote proactive community management while keeping panels 'vibrant' and profiles up-to-date. The firms say contacting panelists via phone where e-mail addresses are either not available or have bounced, enables panel assets to be re-engaged and re-profiled.
By streamlining Kinesis Panel into call center workflows, the solution provides a means to validate panellists' contact information, and facilitates the use of phone-only lists to recruit and add new members. In addition, the solution supports RDD (random digit dialing) methodologies for panel recruitment.
Kinesis CEO and co-founder Leslie Townsend says CATI recruitment is essential for pharma and other industries where high incentives are required, adding another means of locating hard-to-reach panelists, while validating their identity. Survox President and CEO Mary McDougall adds: 'We have streamlined the process to leverage one survey, across multiple channels, to create a single data set for analysis. Now panels can recruit and monetize phone-only respondents to ensure representative results'.
