Mobile survey technology provider OnePoint Global has launched a new service it calls 'SMS invites', promising to boost online survey completion rates.OnePoint, which has locations in the UK, USA, The Netherlands, France, Germany and Egypt, offers technology which enables surveys to be conducted 'on any handset, in any country and in any language'.
According to the firm, 98% of SMS are read, compared with 22% of e-mails, and response rates increase by on average 30% when survey invites are sent by SMS. Its new service, which has been developed in response to these figures, is free to sign up to, and provides clients with 50 free SMS messages. OnePoint claims that clients who tried the beta version of the new solution, received on average four times the complete rate.
The service is available in 160 countries, and can be used on its own or with the OnePoint Global Mobile Survey Platform, for mobile surveys that are fully optimised on all devices. Chief Research Officer and co-founder Tim Snaith (pictured) comments: 'SMS invites accelerate survey completions. This service provides the answer for many of our clients who are using it for both survey invitations and reminders'.
