Analytics and big data platform provider NICE Systems is to acquire customer analytics specialist Nexidia, in a cash deal valued at approximately $135m.Atlanta, Georgia-based Nexidia provides contact centers, media and entertainment companies with advanced speech and interaction analytics solutions - for audio, video and text content - combined with other patented technologies and apps. According to the firm, these tools enable companies to capture, make sense of and use the full range of omni-channel communication they have with their customers.
NICE says clients will be able to use the joint offering to analyse business intelligence for churn reduction, campaign effectiveness and sales optimization, as well as for compliance solutions for complaint management.
