IBM has acquired US-based digital marketing and creative agency Resource/Ammirati, whose range of services includes media engagement and analytics, mobile experience development, in-store activation, and innovation. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.As part of the deal, Resource/Ammirati and its 300+ employees across its offices in Columbus, Chicago and New York, will now join personalization specialist IBM Interactive Experience or IBM iX. The acquisition marks IBM's first complete acquisition of a digital marketing and creative agency, and the company has also announced its plans to buy European full-service digital design agencies Aperto and ecx.io as part of its strategy to expand IBM iX.
